My hobby

My hobby
My hobby is to do origami. I like it because I can make lots of things. I like to make Paper airplanes because I can fly it after I make it. We make things from origami paper in break time.

Bad one
It was snowing outside. It had been snowing for three day. I was sitting on the bench in the city park. Let me tell you how I came here. My name is Patrick, I live in Japan. I came out from my house in the first day of snow. I came out because it was Christmas day but no one gave me any presents. So now I’m here, bored and cold. I was so bored so I started making a snowman. I finished that, so I made many snowmen. I have to bye some food. I can’t bye a lot so that means foods are precious. But sometime someone steals those foods. When I told my friends about that they say “Maybe the snowmen are stealing those foods.” One day I deicide to brake the snowmen. I broke one in each day. I only had five so I took five days. On the 5th day the stealing was stopped. But I still make some snowmen sometimes. Because the snowmen are not bad, the snowmen that I made were a bad one. Eddy and me
I have a friend named Eddy. Eddy and I are good friends, so we usually go driving in the mountains. One day, as we were nearing the top of the mountain we were getting tired so we stopped to rest a while. I saw a sign that said “flammable” on it, but Eddy didn’t see that so he started smoking. I tried to stop him but he threw the lighted cigarette butt on the ground. All of a sudden it created a forest fire. We didn’t know what to do so we started to panic and ran from the scene. After a while, we decided to get some help but neither of us had a cell phone so we had to run down the mountain. However we were surrounded by the fire and we couldn’t get through, so I started getting some water from the nearest lake, and showering water over the fire. I did it many times so the fire started to weaken. I continuously did it until the forest fire ceased. Then we rushed down the mountain and told the villagers about what had happened to us. The villagers were worried but were not angry. They were happy because they won’t have to go watering the plants for a month since I watered the forest already and the plants are sure to grow well because of that. So I was honored for watering the mountain and saving the forest. It was a very fun adventure for Eddy and me, although some of the villagers were not so happy with him.

Eddy and me
I have a friend named Eddy. Eddy and me were good friends, so we went driving in the mountains. When we were near the top of it we were tired so we stopped to rest a while. I saw a flammable sign, but Eddy didn’t see that so he started smoking. I tried to stop him but when he threw it after he smoked, all the sudden it became a forest fire. We didn’t know what to do so we panicked. Then we decided to get some help but I didn’t have a cell phone so we have to run down the mountain. We were surrounded by the fire, so I started getting some water from the nearest lake, and putting it on the fire. I did it many times so the fire started to stop. I did it many times that the forest fire was gone. So we rushed down the hill and told the villagers about what happened to us. The villagers were worried but wasn’t angry. The villagers were happy because I watered the forest so the plants are going to raise good and they won’t have to go watering for a month. So I was given a pride that I watered the mountain and saved the forest. The villagers were a little angry with him. It was a very fun adventure for Eddy and me.

A Busy Day

Busy day
I had a busy day yesterday. I had to be a trash collector, teacher and a painter in one day. First I had to be a trash collector and collect all the trash in the town. So I went on my garbage truck. When I thought I had all the trash I didn’t realized that I was forgetting one. Then I had to be a teacher, so I went to school. I was teaching my class normally until one student said, ’’why do you smell like garbage?’’ At that time I realized that I forgot to take a morning shower after working. I rushed back home and took a shower and came back to school but I was too late, the students went home. I went to the principal’s office to tell the principal about it. But at that time I didn’t realize that I forgot to give them homework. If I knew about that at that time I didn’t have to go to the principal’s office again. Then I went to the house that I have to paint. I didn’t realized that I mixed the paint accidentally, and the house supposed to be yellow but it became green. Now I was so tired but I was happy because I thought I got money. But I didn’t even get 1Yen because I wasn’t good at those works. From now on I am going to find a job that I am good at.

I can’t play
I’m the goalkeeper in the soccer team and everyone say I’m good, but one day I burned my hand when I was cooking. It was when I was baking a cake for my team. I did it in the oven. There was a big game coming up but the doctor said I couldn’t play a little while. I really wanted to play that game, so I did many things like taking a cold shower. I thought my burned hand would be cold and better. I did another things too. Finally the day that we were going to play the game, the doctor said I could play. I was still injured but I can move my hand. I played on that game. Because of my good playing, our team won. This time I learned that I should never to give up. You can always do what you want to do. The End

My Favorite Sports

My Favorite sport is bowling.
ボクの好きなスポーツはボウリングです、

It’s easy, and it’s not dangerous.
とても簡単で危険がまったくないからです。

I first did bowling when I was 7 and I did with bumpers on the gutter.
始めてボウリングをしたのは僕が7歳のとき、そのときはガターカバーをつけてやりました。

So it was very easy.
だから、とても簡単でした。

From that time, I started bowling a lot.
そのときから、何回も何回もボウリングをしました。

My family sometime goes bowling on holidays.
休みの日に家族でボウリングに時々いきます。

The first time I did without bumpers I was shocked because I didn’t even get a spare.
始めて、ガターカバーなしでボウリングをしたとき、スペアも取れずにとてもショックを受けました。
Now I can get a spare without bumpers.
今は、ガターカバーなしでもスペアが取れるようになりました。

I want to be better and better and be better than my Dad.
もっともっと上手になってお父さんより上手くなりたいです。

Bad Cold
悪い風邪

Hi！ I’m Lenny.
こんにちは。ボクはレニー。

I’m in my house because I have a very bad cold.
ボクは悪い風邪にかかって家にいるんだ。

Mom said I have to stay home for 3 months.
お母さんは３ヶ月は家にいないといけないと言っていた。

I want to go to school because I want to see my friends.
学校に行って友だちに会いたいな。

But my cold is so bad.
でも、ボクの風邪は本当に悪い。

I have to get a shot every day it hurts me too much.
毎日注射を打たないといけなくて、それがとても痛い。

I had a very bad fever and it was almost 40 degrees.
ひどい熱もあって、40度近くになっている。

I wanted to go to school soon but my cold was not getting better.
早く学校に行きたいけど、風邪はまったくよくならない。

I thought I should take two shots a day.
一日に二本の注射するといいじんじゃないかな？

I knew it hurts but I said to my mom “I think I need to have two shots a day.”
痛いってわかっていたけど、ママに「一日に二本の注射が必要だと思うんだけど」と言った。
Now I have to take two shots a day.
今は一日二本の注射を打たないといけない

But still the cold didn’t stop.
でも、まだ風邪は止らない。

I thought I would have to take the yucky medicine too so I told my mom about that .
まずい薬も飲むべきじゃないかなと思って、ママにそのこを伝えた。

So I have to take a medicine too.
だから、薬も飲まないといけなくなった。

I want the cold to stop soon because I was having a very hard time with it.
いやなことをいっぱいしているので、すぐにでも風邪が治って欲しい。

That night, my cold started to stop.
その夜、風邪は止り始めた。

Next morning I was a normal healthy boy again.
次の日、ボクはまた普通の元気な男の子になっていた。

I think I got better because I had a very hard time with it.
よくなったのは、いやなことをいっぱいしたからだと思う。

I got well in a month.
一ヵ月後にはよくなっていた。

And I lived happily ever after.
その後幸せに暮らしました。
